Overview

Imagining a futuristic interface to improve communication between soccer players and coaches, for effectively passing on gameplay tactics.

Scenario

Imagine a Champion's league football game with thousands of spectators at Santiago Bernabeu.

The home team is struggling to have possession of the ball they need to evaluate their tactics. But the coach can only talk to the team when it's halftime.

What does the manager do?

Imagine a Champions League football game with thousands of spectators at Santiago Bernabeu.

Tactics can make or break the team's chances of making a comeback.

The only option for the coach is to scream at his players in a jam-packed stadium, which is not an efficient way of communicating.

Mode: Defence

Tracking back to get the ball from the opposition.

The information on the screen gives information about the marked player.

Mode: Attack

When a player has the ball possession.

The interface provides information about the percentage of him completing the pass (according to his skills) and also suggests what type of pass could be beneficial.

Mode: Tactics

When the ball is out of play or when the player is jogging.

The interface allows the coach to send voice messages with an infographic representation of his tactics.
